Belmont School is an independent day
special school for boys aged 10-16 with social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. We are a small
school dedicated to working closely with parents / carers and local authorities
to provide for the individual needs of our pupils and we welcome contact with
anyone who has interest in the school.
The school is situated in Rawtenstall in
the Rossendale Valley area. We are well placed for easy access from the motorway
network, particularly the M66, the M60 and the M65.
In addition to classrooms for each subject
area there is the science laboratory, a design and technology room, an art room,
a food
technology kitchen, a music room and a library / resource centre. There are also
two ICT suites.
The school is set in several areas of
wooded and open grounds, has an all weather football area a basket ball outdoor
court and an indoor games room.

CAD Room & Home Economics
Room! The school has undergone extensive work on a
new CAD room and a state of the art purpose built home economics room
for use in Vocational Education. facilities. Remember to visit the site
again in the next few weeks to Picture to be put on the site soon.
Vocational
Eductaion section. At Belmont we offer a broad
curriculum including vocational education. This includes life skills
such as cooking & health education as well as practical skills
