Belmont School is proud to celebrate the achievements of our pupils as they received their GCSE results today. This special occasion marks both their hard work and the commitment of staff in supporting every pupil to succeed.
Families shared their appreciation of the school, with one parent saying: “It’s been amazing being here, it’s such a fab school.”
A Year 11 pupil added: “Thank you for everything staff have done. I’m really proud of my results. I will miss the school and all the staff that have helped me.”
Every pupil at Belmont benefits from excellent support, including opportunities for fresh starts and access to specialist SEMH provision. This tailored approach ensures that all pupils are able to overcome barriers to learning and achieve outcomes they can be proud of.
Martyn Taylor, Head of Secondary School, said:
“With a combination of Entry Levels, Functional Skills, GCSEs and City & Guilds, the majority of our pupils have achieved or exceeded their expected grades. The school is particularly proud of entries for all three separate sciences this year. Not only is this a first for Belmont for a number of years, but also gaining ‘good’ grades in all three disciplines was great to see. Pupils and parents have expressed their pleasure with the results, with many leaving school and going directly to college for enrolment. We wish all our leavers the very best for their future.”
At Belmont, we remain dedicated to providing a supportive, inclusive and inspiring environment where pupils can achieve their very best.
