Home News & Events Belmont School Supports The Great British Spring Clean
Belmont School has proudly taken part in the Great British Spring Clean throughout this week, with pupils and staff working together to make a positive difference in the local community.
Our teams visited a range of local beauty spots and public spaces, including The Singing Ringing Tree, The Halo, Stubbylee Park, Whitaker Park, Snighole Park and St Victoria Park (twice!). Their hard work and dedication resulted in an impressive total of eight bags of litter being collected.
Alongside the practical effort, pupils also took time to reflect on the importance of caring for our environment. It was fantastic to see such high levels of engagement, teamwork and pride, with all pupils actively involved in helping to protect and improve our shared spaces.
A big thank you to everyone who took part—your efforts have made a real difference!
