Belmont Levels Up with Our New Esports Suite

We are delighted to have recently opened our amazing new Esports Suite at Belmont, providing pupils with an exciting, modern space in which to develop new skills, build confidence and work collaboratively.

Esports is about much more than gaming. Our new provision gives pupils opportunities to develop communication, teamwork, problem solving, resilience, strategy and digital skills, while also learning how to work effectively as part of a team.

The new suite forms part of our developing curriculum offer and provides another pathway for pupils to discover interests, develop talents and experience success in an area that is highly relevant to the world in which they live.

It has already generated huge excitement among pupils, who have been incredibly enthusiastic about using the new facility. We are looking forward to developing the programme further and exploring the opportunities that Esports can provide for our pupils, including links to future careers and further education.

It is fantastic to see Belmont continuing to invest in new opportunities for our pupils and providing them with the spaces, experiences and curriculum they need to aim high.
