Home News & Events KS3 Boys Strike Bronze at Rossendale Ten-Pin Bowling Event – 13/11/25
Six of our KS3 pupils proudly represented Belmont School at the Rossendale Ten-Pin Bowling competition last Thursday, delivering an impressive performance to secure 3rd place out of seven secondary school teams. Their teamwork, focus and determination shone throughout the event and earned them a well-deserved Panathlon Bronze medal – a fantastic achievement for the group.
The celebration continued the following morning, when the boys were formally presented with their Panathlon Bronze award certificates during assembly. Their success was met with rapturous applause from peers, support staff and subject teachers, marking a moment of pride for the whole school community.
The Panathlon programme plays a vital role in supporting our students by providing inclusive, competitive experiences that strengthen confidence, social skills and emotional regulation. Events like this offer a platform for pupils to shine beyond the classroom, helping them build resilience, develop teamwork and foster a strong sense of belonging – values that lie at the heart of Belmont School.
A huge well done to the boys for their effort, sportsmanship and positive representation of the school. We are incredibly proud of them.
