Belmont Pupils Shine at TeenTech Lancashire Festival

This week, pupils from 8C and 9C attended the TeenTech Lancashire Festival, an inspiring event that brings together young people from across the county to explore the latest developments in science, technology, engineering and digital industries.

The festival offered a range of hands-on experiences with cutting-edge technology, opportunities to meet industry professionals and valuable insights into future career pathways.

Throughout the day, our pupils engaged enthusiastically in interactive activities, spoke with representatives from leading organisations and explored innovative technologies. They also took part in the Innovators Workshop, where students were challenged to develop creative solutions to real-world problems.

We are especially proud of Luke, whose idea for an Emergency Medical Watch impressed the judges and secured first place in the workshop challenge. His innovative thinking, problem-solving skills and confidence in presenting his idea were truly outstanding.

All of our pupils represented Belmont School exceptionally well. With more than 300 students from schools across Lancashire attending the festival, many stepped well beyond their comfort zones. They embraced every challenge, demonstrated excellent behaviour and communication skills, and showed remarkable resilience throughout the day.
